Text messages from Mars

Last updated 14 October 2026

Mars LOS LLC (“Mars”) runs mortgage software for brokerages. With your permission, Mars texts borrowers about their own loan, and texts sign-in codes to the people who use Mars. This page says what those messages are, how you agree to them, and how to stop them.

What we send

We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How you agree

Texts are something you choose. On the Mars loan application and in the borrower portal you enter your mobile number and tick a box that is never ticked for you:

Mobile number

For sign-in codes, you turn on text codes in your account and confirm the number by entering the first code we send to it. Your loan officer cannot tick the box for you.

How often

It varies with your loan: usually a few messages a week while your loan is in progress, fewer once it closes, and one code each time you sign in with a text code.

What it costs

Mars does not charge for texts. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
